This coming Friday, I will be chairing a panel exploring #art forms, #materials, and #value at FOCUS Art Fair, in conversation with Aurélien Lepetit, Belen Santamarina, and Yu Mei Huang.
This year’s theme, Cultural Dialogue, invites us to explore different perspectives and foster conversations across artistic practices and disciplines.
Material culture has long been a focus of my research. I am particularly delighted to have the opportunity to engage with such a diverse group of artists and explore how materiality, rarity, and authorship shape artistic and cultural value today.
